Under remote supervision Advanced Sterilization Products Field Service Engineer is responsible to deliver service, repair and installation related activities at customer sites for all products distributed or supported by Advanced Sterilization Products, Inc.

This position performs the installation, operation, repair and modification of equipment, performs preventive maintenance and documents performance and maintenance records on equipment. Work with leadership and customers and scheduling personnel to schedule all aspects of technical / service work required to support all products supported and serviced by Advanced Sterilization Products technical service business division. Support customer related to emergency service. Determines cause(s), troubleshoots and takes corrective action. Manage customer expectations on a regular basis before & after various interaction to insure customer satisfaction. Complete all activities within the Service Management System (Siebel) through daily updates and documentation. Complete all processing of RMA returns to support individual usage of supporting parts and equipment. Manage personal "trunk" inventory and complete required audits to support thereof. Demonstrate excellence in providing customer service. Basic knowledge of office based computer programs and their application in administrative activities. Work as a part of a cross-functional work group. This individual may participate in the installation-planning phase for new equipment.

Candidates should possess a basic understanding of business practices and associated costs and processes. Schedule and perform the installation, planned maintenance, repair, and modification of ASP systems. Respond to customer requests for emergency service. Determines cause(s), troubleshoot and take corrective action. This individual must be highly motivated to achieve top level customer satisfaction in all accounts. Complete all assigned training and documentation requirements within assigned due dates. May advise and assist in affecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency, quality and/or reduce cost of operation.

Qualifications


A minimum of an Associate Degree, trade/technical schooling or three to five years related experience, customer support/customer relations/or technical support experience is required. 1-3 years customer service experience is required. An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (similar discipline) or Computer Science is preferred. Work experience equivalent to four years in a related field is desired. Microsoft A+ Certification or equivalent computer hardware certification is a plus. MCP Certification or equivalent is preferred. This position requires the ability to lift 80 lbs. to a height of four feet. This position requires frequent airline travel, extensive standing, bending, and stooping. Ability to travel on short notice with in 24 hrs notice, and work weekends and "off hours" as needed to support internal/external customer needs. This position does require a valid US Driver's license and the ability to travel extensively within and outside of the local market. Extended hours may also be required.
