The Ethicon Surgical Care business a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for an Advocate Customer Support Casual Part-Time position located in Cincinnati, OH.
The Ethicon Surgical Care business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies-including sutures, surgical staplers, clip appliers, trocars and synthetic mesh devices-that are used in a wide variety of minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, women's health conditions, hernias, cancer and obesity. The Ethicon Surgical Care business combines products and services of two market leading legacy companies, both with long histories of medical innovation. The Customer Support Advocate will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries pertaining to a variety of Ethicon & J&J products & services accessed through the toll-free lines, e-mails, inter calls, letters or through other appropriate communications. The successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills. Duties will also include collection & reporting of customer data related to call handling. Strong focus on the coordination, facilitation, and dissemination of information regarding assigned J&J products lines and related field activity as new products are supported within the Center. Positively manage assigned projects towards required business outcomes. Responsible for maintaining and updating current quality systems policies and procedures. Investigate customer issues & determine appropriate course of action. This position is a 19.5 hour per week position, with two 8 hour days and one 3.5 hour day in a Monday-Friday work week. Alternating shifts will rotate within the timeframe of 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. No weekends or holidays required.
Qualifications
Successful candidate must possess an unrestricted Nursing License. Baccalaureate degree, or actively pursuing such a degree, with a medical, technical or business focus preferred. Three years of recent applicable experience within a healthcare environment or medical call center is required. Ability to appropriately apply core RN knowledge skill sets required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as solid organizational and time management abilities are required. The qualified candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Strong computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office of products is preferred. This position will have a rotating schedule.
