Description

Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices and Diagnostics, IT Center of Excellence is recruiting for a casual part time IT Sr. Analyst- Risk Assurance located Cincinnati, Ohio.

The IT Sr. Analyst- Risk Assurance is accountable for assisting the ITRA Manager in all aspects of managing risk for their assigned companies. They aide in proactively identifying and assessing business risks from IT, and design and implement mitigation strategies to improve the enterprise IT risk profile, ensuring that technology solutions meet all requirements and standards. IT Risk Assurance Sr. Analyst consults with project teams to determine applicability of various regulations, and can perform the role of Compliance Lead for all projects within assigned area of responsibility and perform the SDLC gated reviews along with the compliance reviews for all change management request. The IT Sr. Analyst Risk Assurance will assist during audits, projects, and business interactions and must maintain current knowledge of regulatory procedures and keep up to date on changes/ modifications. The person in this position will work with IT, QA, CIA and business colleagues to ensure audit readiness and to prepare for internal and external audits. This position will lead activities for audit preparation, hosting and follow-up activities and to propose strategies to improve performance in audits. He or she will proactively manage business partner expectations, resolving conflicts between compliance requirements and project/business constraints. They will also participate as extended team member for key business/IT initiatives.

The IT Sr. Analyst Risk Assurance independently solves problems and resolves issues within area of expertise or escalates problems to the appropriate resource. The person can analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge; collects facts and basic rationale to make recommendations for problem resolution. The Candidate applies technical expertise and works independently within scope, receiving general guidance and also provides mentorship or guidance to more junior staff. This person must also understand future trends in regulatory compliance and disseminates them throughout the organization. This position will support creation and maintenance of compliance processes and standards. The person in this position will also be responsible to apply superior knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions. This position contributes to defining the strategic plan as it pertains to compliance at J&J IT. They will also contribute to overall budget planning.

This is a casual part time role, max. of 19.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications


This position requires as 4+ years of relevant experience including some within compliance and regulatory and BA/BS degree or equivalent OR 2+ years with advanced degree or equivalent. This position requires strong business relationship skills and can effectively work within a global and virtual environment; Systems Development Lifecycle experience and knowledge of an internal controls framework are required. Candidates should be able to navigate through the landscape of the IT organization (i.e., learning the different parties, roles and responsibilities) can actively participate in J&J and/or IT activities beyond the team. Strong collaboration and teaming skills required. It is ideal that candidates have the ability to influence without authority. The Candidate can coordinate the delivery of risk management solutions for small to medium size initiatives, including tracking and communicating status and supports knowledge sharing for on-boarding new employees. This position will require less than 10% travel.

This is a casual part time role, max. of 19.5 hours weekly.
