Description
Johnson & Johnson IT Shared Services, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an IT Technical Lead, Total Rewards Systems, located in New Brunswick, NJ.
The IT Technical Lead, Total Rewards Systems, is responsible for the technical delivery of initiatives, projects and operational support, related to the delivery of ECM/GATE/Compensation solutions for HR. The IT Technical Lead will contribute to the delivery of high quality solutions, on time and on budget and will ensure that services are delivered per the requirements of the HR Business Partners. The IT Technical Lead will collaborate with AS, IT Operations, and BU/IT departments, as well as HR Operations, HR Specialty Groups, and Finance to deliver against the overall strategy. They will be champions of good systems development and management processes as well as actively promote awareness and alignment with all J&J compliance requirements.
The IT Technical Lead will be backfilling for the incumbent who is responsible for managing aspects of the delivery of ECM/GATE/Compensation projects and support services. These services would include project/program delivery, application design, development, implementation, testing, and base business support services. Represent HR IT in supporting the gathering of requirements, managing external resources and prioritizing requests. Ensures appropriate SDLC and change management processes are followed based on the priorities of HR Operations and the HR Specialty Groups. To include system enhancements, managing change requests and overseeing the implementation of changes from design, development, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities include managing contract resources for project or service delivery and providing oversight and direction for ECM/GATE/Compensation projects/programs. They will also review output from staff and service providers to ensure successful delivery for work in their area. Provide regular and detail-appropriate reports back to HR IT about the current status of delivery, support operations, and vendor performance (if appropriate). Reviews and approves all work assigned within their functional area. Ensures compliance with IAPPs, WWIS, GxP, SOX and segregation of duties requirements for all work they are accountable for. They will maintain all documentation in accordance with J&J validation/compliance and SDLC requirements. They will interact with ITSS for infrastructure requirements for Windows servers and managing the HLM for all infrastructure components for Total Rewards projects.
Qualifications
This position requires a minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree. Candidates that possess a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or technical field are preferred. This position requires a minimum of 6 years overall IT. This position requires 3 years experience with Web Development using .NET/Oracle, and 3 years configuring Windows/IIS to run web applications. Experience with PowerBuilder is desired. This position requires strong project delivery experience - managing global, cross-functional, multi-disciplined projects and service delivery environment. The ability to drive resolution for critical issues by bringing teams together - both J&J internal and external vendors is required. A global mindset - ability to work across multiple countries and cultures is required. This position requires interdependent partnering and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and business partners. Candidates that possess HR IT Project experience particularly with Compensation related systems are preferred. Prior experience in the healthcare is preferred. This position requires 10-15% travel and will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.
