The NA I – Dual Skilled position is cross trained and provides two of the functions below (with one being a CNA I at least 75% of the time) at least 25% of the time.  

NA – I Summary and Essential Accountabilities:Under the direction of the licensed nurse, performs basic nursing care and personal care activities such as taking vital signs, assisting with admission and discharge of patients, and assisting with personal hygiene and meals for patients.

Health Unit Coordinator Role Summary and Essential Accountabilities: Gathers, collects and disseminates information in a nursing unit.

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an EKG course may be required for some Units; will train upon hire.

Required License: Must have and maintain current listing with Division of Facility Services as NA-I.

Required Experience: Must have at least one year of previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting as a nursing assistant or nurse's aide

Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a Unit Secretary or Ward Clerk a plus
