Description

The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking a Quality Management, Process Manager (Back to Basics) to support the Back to Basics program. This person will own the design and implementation of SAP Quality Management processes and interfaces for the program, which includes the development of the global design and deployment to each of the regional rollouts.

The Supply Chain and Global Finance organizations at Johnson & Johnson are undergoing significant change, to enable growth and value for Johnson & Johnson through a Global Integrated Supply Chain organization that optimizes services, reduces costs and enables quality and compliance, as well as the roll-out of the Global Finance shared service organization that drives significant efficiencies and improved controls. An important element in delivering the Global Supply Chain enterprise strategy is the establishment of the Back to Basics (BtB) Program.

The overall purpose for the creation of the BtB team is to translate corporate strategy into a clear picture of J&J's Enterprise Supply Chain and Global Finance business models by defining key strategic capabilities, standard processes, quality and compliance standards & supporting infrastructure. BtB is a process-based business transformation Program to deliver the Supply Chain strategic enterprise capabilities and enable Supply Chain and Finance efficiencies.

This role will support Global Process and Organization Leadership (Global Focus on Design and Deployment to BtB Global Template) for the Quality Management (QM) process area. The Global Process Manager is the key lead resource within the QM Process Team to manage and deliver the complete project lifecycle deliverables. Lead the core and franchise/site/regional team activities related to project team deliverables to ensure a successful delivery and deployment of the BtB QM process and platform. Lead the design, development and delivery of the global standard SAP process for Quality Management for Enterprise Supply Chain's cross sector plants and regions. Responsible for the maintaining, recommending improvements, developing and deploying improvements to the Quality Management SAP solution, including process alignment and hands-on deployment. Work with the Sector/franchise teams, other Subject Matter Experts, and Sector/franchise resource to realize global standard processes and system capabilities/functions. Resolve issues, integrate with new sites and legacy systems, and support change leadership.

This position will drive alignment of key business process requirements through the implementation/adaption of the SAP BtB/Enterprise standard template design. Drive BtB/Enterprise business process standardization alignment/adoption for Quality Management functions and new capabilities ensuring QA controls and traceability. Adopt best common practices and processes based on industry benchmark and system design. Own, maintain and protect the BtB/Enterprise Process Template. Identify business changes for incorporation into template. Understand and evaluate individual site needs and ensure they are satisfied through the BtB/Enterprise standard model or through process change or mitigations. Facilitate, through demonstration, the application of the process model to satisfy Enterprise, Regional and Group level strategies. Identify and propose process changes to the BtB/Enterprise standard template. Act as change champion to ensure process adoption and SAP Configuration and Management.

Ensure site process flows and transactions are mapped with the BtB/Enterprise standard template. Ensure documentation and configuration of SAP modules align business requirements with BtB/Enterprise standard template. Supports SAP Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms (RICEF's). Ensure the solution fulfils the BtB/Enterprise standard template. Ensure documentation, development, testing and delivery follow BtB/Enterprise delivery methodology. This role will support and lead testing and training; Ensure functional area testing preparedness and execution. Prepare string, unit and validation test scripts for all business process areas in scope, and perform unit, string and validation testing. Ensure support to training materials development (localization). Ensure delivery of "Train the Trainer" to designated franchise leads. Ensure Work Instructions for BtB/Enterprise are maintained. Ensure global alignment for security and controls administration. Assists teams with problem resolution, issue management, etc. Ensures leadership of required change requests through the process (interface to IT support, impact analysis, release mgt, data changes, testing etc.). Ensure changes to business processes are coordinated with other process owners and backward integrated to legacy systems. Develop, Deploy, Align and administer the Quality Management governance processes for existing legacy ERP connections to the SAP/QM production landscape/template. Identify and drive team project deliverables, resource allocations and prioritizations. Own project team deliverables, including project resource planning, process descriptions and other CSV documentation, test development, test execution management, training support, conversion rules development from a project planning, execution and control standpoint. Manage BtB/Enterprise implementation business staff (talent development).

This position will own the evaluation and commitment to the process team's deliverables. Own the tactical planning for the process team's deliverables. Drive process alignment and change acceptance with the site leads. Drive the timely deliverables of process team deliverables. Ensure knowledge transfer between team resources, site resources (SME's and Power Users), consultants are identified and completed.

Qualifications


This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. In addition this position requires 5+ years of experience in quality roles within Operations/Supply Chain or equivalent project experience. An understanding of Supply Chain technologies and end-to-end business/IT architecture, SAP, middleware, etc. is required. This role requires that candidates have completion of a full life cycle implementation with SAP for the relevant process area. Candidates with experience working within a regulated (i.e. FDA) environment with an emphasis on Validation & Compliance of systems and processes are preferred. Experience working with multiple franchises and sectors within J&J is preferred. Experience working in businesses process such as sourcing or manufacturing are preferred. An understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies is required. Demonstrated hands-on project management experience is required. Candidates with people management and development skills are preferred. This position requires strong analytical skills. In addition this position requires excellent written, oral, and presentation skills. Experience authoring functional specifications and translating those requirements to the technical team is required. Experience developing test scripts and test plans is required. Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partners, in a highly matrixed environment across the globe is preferred.

The ability to influence/collaborate to get to results is required. Change leadership expertise is preferred. Process re-engineering experience is also preferred. This position requires excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills. Candidates with Professional Certification (i.e. C.P.M. or CPIM or CSCP) are preferred. Six Sigma Black/Green Belt is also preferred. Travel domestically and internationally 50% can be required and travel may be required up to 60% for shorter periods. If based outside an immediate deployment area, travel may be up to 75% for periods. This position will be based in Piscataway, NJ or remotely.
