To fully understand and safely operate a crushing, screening and all related equipment for the manufacturing of clay based litter and to ensure a consistent flow of product from processing to packaging through communication with other operators and Team Leaders.

Operates all manufacturing and industrial equipment where to the assigned area within Processing. As determined by position or task, adheres to and cooperates with factory and divisional quality standards/requirements and department(s) in order to build consumer trust and preference by providing quality brands, products and services; maintains and ensures 0 defect and 0 waste attitude without compromising safety or regulatory compliance.

Operates, adjusts and cleans equipment and area as needed. Performs operator PM's as required.

Communicates with supervisor any ongoing issues to be passed on to maintenance. Communicates at shift change any issues from shift to shift.

Keeps area clean at all times. Identifies and utilizes down time to clean in, around and under all equipment.

Adheres to all safety policies and cooperates with all regulatory, factory and divisional safety standards/requirements and department(s) in order to ensure safety of self and others.




High School diploma or GED required.

One (1) year general manufacturing experience. Experience operating heavy equipment which includes but is not limited to front-end loader, sweeper, forklift, etc. preferred.
