Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience performing critical care level echocardiograms
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)/Registered Diagnostic Cardiography Sonographer (RDCS) OR if registry eligible must commit to becoming registered within one (1) year of employment.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited echocardiography program OR equivalent on the job training.
- CurrentBLS required.
- Extensive knowledge of all echo modalities.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of echocardiograph equipment and procedures.
- Ability to maneuver echo equipment which may exceed 500 pounds.
- Extensive reaching and stretching.
- Ability to communicate, verbal and written, in a clear concise manner.
- Ability to consistently provide high levels of customer service.
Notes:
- Works rotating weekends
- This is a variable position, start times may vary within the shift.
