Our Default Servicing Team: Respectfully engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies. - Responsible for performing assigned analyses and projects to solve a variety of business issues for the Foreclosure Business Operations team - Performs analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, etc. - Summarizes and presents findings to reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, compliance, etc. - Identifies and recommends potential data sources - Compiles/mines data from multiple cross business sources - Responds to requests for specific, customized reports and ad hoc analyses - Ensures adherence to data management regulations and policies - May partner with technology group - Will coordinate project/analysis activities across a geographically-dispersed team, and will therefore be relied upon to maintain accurate documentation of projects statuses, issues, milestones, etc. - Will actively engage front line operations team members to understand business requirements, analytical needs, and recommend process improvements - May provide guidance to less experienced specialists and consultants - Will be relied upon to manage multiple concurrent projects while supporting other related activities as assigned
Basic Qualifications: 4+ years reporting and analytical experience or a minimum of a Bachelors degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 2+ years directly applicable work experience.
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years experience with researching, compiling, and performing complex analysis & reporting on critical operational data - 3+ years of SQL working experience above and beyond education - 2+ years intermediate SAS working experience above and beyond education - 2+ years SSRS working experience above and beyond education - Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel (including VBA), Access and PowerPoint - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint site development and site based reporting - Project management experience, managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, tasks, etc. - Possess excellent troubleshooting, resolution, technical, and critical thinking skills - Ability to independently provide summaries and make strategic recommendations on operational data - Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to interact with team members and management at all levels - Self-starter who takes action and welcomes guidance vs. waiting for direction - Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo''s compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills: - Previous operations analysis experience within Foreclosure or Mortgage Originations - Intermediate knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence, Dundas, Crystal, etc. - Intermediate knowledge of analytical software tools such as JMP and/or Minitab - Green Belt or higher Six Sigma certification
