Strong working knowledge of Teradata information retrieval methodology, including advanced Query development. Strong working knowledge of website development, implementation of Web-based retrieval of systems/tools/processes/reporting, and HTML and competing principles. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, including Excel (Expert level), Word, Project, Visio and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, teaming, influence management, interpersonal, and creative skills. 3+ years knowledge of Verizon Wireless processes and operations with a specific focus on functions within Customer Service. Knowledge of billing systems, tools, and processes. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines consistently. Demonstrated technical / analytical skills. Demonstrated, highly effective interpersonal and decision making skills. Expertise in creating multi-level, multi-faceted reports, charts, graphs, and presentations to be distributed/presented to all levels of the organization. The Supervisor - Systems and Reporting will design, develop and implement reporting and system solutions for the Business Finance Operations organization. This critical role is responsible for assessing national and area needs and partnering with area teams to design and execute recommendations. This person is also responsible for driving improvements in the systems and tools, such as WFM, to improve automation and efficiency within the Business Finance Operations teams. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational reporting requirements, systems administration, and business intelligence modeling. Responsible for the stability, performance and accuracy of all report output and database(s), including operational and productivity reporting tools and analysis. Lead a team of Reporting and Workflow Manager personnel. Work with various internal and external organizations to improve efficiency through identification and implementation of process and policy changes focused on improving frontline productivity, customer and employee experience and driving accuracy and consistency across the organization. Partner closely with teammates and leaders in establishing and meeting commitment dates. This will include, but not be limited to, developing report requirements, documentation, scope assessment, development and integration with our other efforts. Additionally, the Supervisor is expected to address and recommend / implement solutions for issues. Produce in-depth analysis of variances to identify root cause and develop actionable recommendations. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of a variety of KPI reports and the development of presentations for senior leadership. Responsibilities include: Develop innovative and viable reports and system solutions for the Business Finance Operations. Partner with business owners / stakeholders in assessing and understanding business opportunities. Define, review, document and analyze system and reporting requirements, ensuring clear definition and understanding of the business / user need and desired end state. Provide input to Operations team on report / user documentation, training needs and communication. Identify and resolve issues that may impact critical project deliverables. Commit to and achieve aggressive but attainable schedules for delivery of solutions. Develops and present information for senior management . Works cross functionally to complete operational analyses and develop action plans in support of BFO strategic initiatives. Data Integrity Requirements: Ensure that all reports are produced accurately and timely. Responsible for documenting report source, output, business purpose, frequency, quality control process and timeline for report portfolio. Monitor report effectiveness and usability, updating as needed to ensure efficient use of tools and resources.
