Manager of VOLTE Maintenance Engineering is responsible for the national operations support of all VOLTE application network elements and platforms. Candidates will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish organizational and company objectives. They must be able to sustain work performance under increasing pressure. Prior experience in Verizon VOIP/VOLTE networks preferred. Candidates are responsible for providing technical leadership on new projects to teams that include Area/Regional Operations, Network Planning, Network Implementation, National Network Operations and other maintenance engineering groups. They take a significant role in the evolutionary growth of a product or service. They will take part in technology trials, interoperability tests and participate in vendor evaluations. Candidates will oversee the team leading First Office Applications for all new services and features. They are responsible to maintain functional/technical requirements, analyze hardware/software features and enhancements, and understand system architectures, operations, end-to-end designs and device-system interactions. Candidates will manage the relationship with the vendor's account and FOA teams driving better quality and reliability. They will be the final escalation path for resolution of technical issues with equipment and software providers. They will also manage the expense and capital budget for all the transport and security vendors. Some night work and travel is required.
