Our Default Servicing Team: Respectfully engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies. Responsible for a group of high level risk bankrupt accounts and applying Bankruptcy Code requirements to those accounts. May be responsible for high level account analysis based on Bankruptcy Code and general collection law requirements. May assign accounts for foreclosure, repossession and/or other outside action without supervisory approval based on pre-determined parameters. May negotiate with attorneys and/or debtors where permissible. May work directly with court personnel. May work directly with Law Department. May file appropriate documents/forms directly with court. May work or represent department on special projects. May provide direction to less experienced staff including specialists and assistants.
Basic Qualifications: 4+ years financial industry experience, including 1+ years in bankruptcy or BA/BS and 1+ year bankruptcy or loss prevention experience.
Minimum Qualifications: - Exceptional organizational skills, strong oral and written communications skills, basic negotiating and analytical skills. - Demonstrate interpersonal communications skills such as understanding, influencing, assessing and most important, the ability to be fair and equitable while providing excellent customer service practices. - Knowledge of support functions for reviewing bankruptcy key indicators and analytical review for bankruptcy support audits. - Experience researching and analyzing legal documents. - Completing audits by a strict timeframe and providing trending reports to management on a monthly basis. - Providing support to Compliance team as needed for special projects. - Knowledgeable of Bankruptcy Code and general collection law requirements. - Ability to coach lesser experienced team members. This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo''s compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
