Our Default Servicing Team: Respectfully engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies. **Please note: the posting duration may be shortened based on job seeker volume** Responsible for a group of low risk bankrupt accounts and applying Bankruptcy Code requirements to those accounts. May be responsible for low level account analysis. May recommend foreclosure, repossession and/or other outside action. May negotiate with attorneys and/or debtors where permissible. May work directly with court personnel. May file appropriate documents/forms directly with court. May work on special projects.
Basic Qualifications: 2+ years financial industry experience, including 1+ years loss prevention or customer experience or BA/BS.
Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years directly applicable experience in a loss prevention role or 2 years legal administrative experience or 2 years direct bankruptcy experience or a 4 year degree. - Strong verbal and written communications skills. - Proven success in complex problem analysis and resolution. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Ability to effectively respond to inquiries or escalated issues from internal departments or requesters. - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. - 2+ years directly applicable experience in a loss prevention role or a 4 year degree. - Some Bankruptcy experience. This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo''s compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills: - 2+ years directly applicable experience in Bankruptcy. - 2+ years in a loss prevention role or 2 years legal administrative experience and 4 year degree in Accounting, Business, Law or Paralegal background.
