The SIGINT Analyst will function as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of deployed US Forces.
The SIGINT Analyst will be responsible for:
- Researching, developing, presenting, and publishing SIGINT products at the tactical and operational level related to insurgent IED cell activities, and threats to local/regional stability as part of an overall C-IED analytical team.
- Conducting analysis of raw and fused signals intelligence data of insurgents who are directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement and employment of IEDs.
- Providing input on multiple government requirements and objectives, assisting with the analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on the C-IED mission set, and supplying analytical support for senior Military leaders.
- SIGINT analysis related to IED threats, Counter-IED mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counter-terrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general.
- Attending meetings and conducting comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as part of a larger analytical effort focusing on IED-related current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit's mission.
This position is contingent upon final customer review and approval; and successful completion of medical screenings to deploy.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen.
- Current TS/SCI clearance. This position requires a current Polygraph.
- Associates or higher degree and a minimum of 4 years intelligence analyst experience. Or, an additional 2 years experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Trained in SIGINT analysis with a minimum of 4 years SIGINT experience within DoD or equivalent government agencies required. Operational level experience preferred.
- Successfully attend and pass the government-administered SASMO training course.
- Knowledgeable of Army/Joint SIGINT procedures, data processing systems such as CIDNE, RT-RG, NSANet and associated SIGINT databases/search engines.
- Former MOS 1N, 35S/P/N, 35B, 352N/P/Q/R/S, 18F, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent mid-level military enlisted or company grade officer experience.
- Proficient in ulitizing basic computer applications, mIRC, Jabber Chat, other intelligence related automation in support of analytical efforts and product development, and MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of Afghanistan Theater of Operations requirements.
