Northrop Grumman Corporation is a leading global security company providing innovative systems, products, and solutions in aerospace, electronics, information systems and technical services to government and commercial customers worldwide.

You will be responsible for supporting, designing, and integrating an advanced virtualized collection systems. The candidate must be hands-on and very comfortable and effective in working in a fast-paced environments to support quick response capability (QRC) efforts.

Duties will include developing customized scripts and software, analyzing/debugging scripts, testing virtualized systems, documenting processes/procedures, analyzing system logs, debugging interfaces and data flows, and assisting with demonstrations and installations.

Qualifications

  Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer supporting system and S/W architecture, development, requirements analysis, design, integration, process execution and evaluation
• 5+ years of  Linux operating system experience (must be evidenced in work history)
• 5+ years of script writing and script debugging
• Significant knowledge of SIGINT collection systems
• Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment
• Strong communications skills
• C++ or Java background preferred.
• Experience with a combination of Subversion, Ruby, Bash, Maven, and/or Puppet

 Other Desired Skills & Experience:

• VMWare Experience
• Microsoft PowerPoint or Visio

 Security Clearance:  TS/SCI clearance with poly. 

Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meets the experience requirements; or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.   Master's degree may be substituted for two years of experience.
