The A2 Contracts Administrator role will be responsible for Radio Frequency Information and Combat Systems (RFCIS) proposal preparation, negotiation, and administration on U.S. Government, commercial, and international contracts. Contract types will include (but are not limited to) firm fixed price, cost type, and time and material contracts.
Duties include:
Acts as the primary interface with customers and business partners and conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
Proposal preparation will include: examining proposal requirements and estimates, preparing bids, analyzing terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Contract administration includes processing contractual documentation and reports, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, compilation and analyses of data, and maintenance of historical information. Facilitate proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA as required. Preparation of weekly/monthly reports and maintenance of the contracts and accounting databases (SAP and Microsoft Access) will be required. Daily interaction with customer representatives is expected.
Duties also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and various types of memoranda.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or Masters and 1+ year of relevant experience. Candidates with some college education plus 5+ years of relevant experience will be considered but must be reviewed and approved by the Professional Qualifications Review Board.
Self-starter with the ability to handle moderately complex contracts with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal, written and communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Candidate will be expected to develop solutions to problems utilizing proactive concepts, techniques, and standards. A working knowledge of FAR, DFARS and UCC. Experience with different contract types including firm fixed price, cost type, and time and material contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP is a plus. Negotiation experience also a plus.
