Description

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking an EDI Communications Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Raleigh, NC.

 

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence.  The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's contract to provide USPS Information Technology with professional, technical and support services to support the application development, database production support, help desk administration, LAN administration and various requirements for distributed technical support throughout the USPS enterprise.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:
       -  Perform requirement analysis, design of the EDI maps, and the coordination and execution of SIT testing.
       -  Setup and support automated file transfer using AS2, Connect:Direct, ftp, sftp and AFT in a SUSE LINUX environment; including but not limited to creating, managing, and testing with trading partners, migrating trading partners.
       -  Administer as appropriate DTS software products such as Axway Gateway Interchange, Axway Provisioning - Services, Connect:Direct, Sterling File Agent, Secure Transport, Secure Messenger and/or vShell.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
       -  Bachelors Degree or 9 years experience in Lieu of a degree.

       -  5 years of programming and support services for the following languages such as: java, Perl and Korn shell scripting, SQL, and C
       -  5+ years of maintaining PGP keys for encryption and signing of files.
       -  5+ years of utilizing data transfer programs: FPT, SFTP, Secure Transport, or Tumbleweed
       -  5+ years of using and modifying existing data transfer scripts when available and writing custom data transfer scripts when not.
       -  Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation.
