Northrop Grumman Xetron is seeking an EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE  ENGINEER to join a high performance team of professionals developing leading edge software systems. The candidate would be exposed to a variety of programs with an opportunity to provide solutions to national security threats. This position requires the ability to apply knowledge of C++, C, Java, and/or Assembler software development for Windows and Linux platforms.  Professional experience with various networking protocols, multi-threaded applications, user and kernel mode applications, algorithm development, graphical user interfaces, and web development is preferred. Position requires knowledge of various programming languages in a disciplined software development environment.  BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5 years experience.  MS Degree with 3 years related experience.  This position requires the ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.  Ability to obtain a TS clearance is required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5 years experience.  MS degree requires 3 years exeperience. Knowledge of various programming languages and technologies. Ability to obtain a TS clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
A current TS clearance is preferred.
