Description

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Junior Cyber Software Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Quantico, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Cyber Security Enterprise Solutions Operating Unit with the Defense Technologies Division, working on the MCNOSC MARCERT contract for the Marine Corps.

 

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the existing MARCERT tools and developing new tools that will improve the MARCERT's abillity to detect anomlies, respond, protect and to report incidents.These duties may require the applicant to design, develop, document, test and debug the applications and systems.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Modify to the MARCERT Collection Database tool to support the needs of MARCERT analysts.

-Identify emerging capabilities within vendor applications and coordinate with to test applications.

-Gather requirements from any of MARCERT sections and create applications to meet needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-US citizenship; ability to obtain a US government security clearance of Secret.

-BS Degree in Computer Science or IT related field

-At least two (2) years experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing and problem diagnosis/resolution.

-Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio

-Desire to learn new technologies and increase your expertise

-Must be able to work as part of a team.
