Description

Northrop Grumman Technical Services Sector is seeking Warehouse Support: This position is in Afghanistan. Serves as logistical support at a supply warehouse in support of OEF. Must be prepared to assist with the following: warehouse man, receiving and forwarding specific materials, inventory and shipment verification, OCONUS/CONUS shipment coordination, inventory, shipment and work order management, and preparation of hand receipts. Former 92 series (quartermaster) or equivalent required. Must be capable of lifting and moving warehouse supplies.

 

Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

1. Must have a Secret Clearance.

2. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

3. Must have a H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.

4. Must have a Bachelor's Degree and one year experience or 5 years of experience in the logistics field in lieu of a degree


Preferred Qualifications:

 

1. An Active U.S. Passport.

2. Experience with Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) or Certification.

3. Previous experience working in a warehouse.

4. Logistical experience in the theater of operations.

5. Degree is also preferred.
