Support spacecraft program alignment measurement activities and coordinate with all stakeholders. Responsible for alignment measurement planning and execution, including verification of alignment requirements. Position may include budget and schedule responsibilities. Must be a strong champion of process enforcement. Knowledge of theodolites, photogrammetry, and laser tracker technology. Support of second and extended shifts, weekend, and O/T schedules may be required.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree or equivalent, 0 years of aerospace industry experience and knowledge of alignment measurement required. Knowledge of V-Stars, Spacial Analyzer and Microsoft EXCEL. Should be familiar with integration & test, system engineering, and the mechanical design of space vehicles. Should have an understanding in a majority of the following fields: mechanisms, opto-mechanical concepts and vector analytics. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret and SSBI clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of other alignment measurement methodologies. Should have excellent written and oral communication proficiencies, in addition to outstanding interpersonal skills. Knowledge of iWitness, Rhinocerous and the fundamentals of threedimensional alignment analytics.
