Description

The Security Support 3 will staff the Secuirty Office and support all operational functions of the department. Working knowledge of the Site Security Mission is critical. The position will handle sensitive and confidential documents, communications and activities. The Security Suport 3 will oversee office activities including word processing, document creation, telepnone communications and scheduling for multiple individuals.
The Security Support 3 will serve as a key member of the Secuirty Support staff and may assume other duties as the situation requires in order to support the customer's mission. This is a fast paced work environment.
The Security Suport 3 will monitor and control personnel and property access to the Security Department offices. On occasion the personnel will accompany and/or closely monitor the activities of uncleared visitor(s) and/or worker(s). Screen and manage personnel admitted to the offices, assuring personnel have the requisite security clearances. Ensure that all categories of personnel (government, contractor, and visitor) are wearing proper identification badges in the prescribed manner at all times.
Responsible for maintaining records and submitting reports in accordance to customer requirements. Report infractions immediately to the Eagle Alliance CSSO. Always assure punctuality in reporting to your assigned post/position. Always provide adequate notice in the event you cannot make a scheduled work assignment. Always maintain a well groomed appearance while representing Northrop Grumman Technical Services.


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess a SCI, High school education, and four years of experience, and a basic understanding of MS Office products particularly Excel. Abiity to master the end-user operation of computer and security systems. Must be capable of multi-tasking various projects. Must posess high level customer service and communication skills. This is a high visibility position that deals with all levels of the public in a professional manner.
