Qualifications
Core Business/Functional Skills and Education.
1. Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics or M.S. in Statistics or Biostatistics..
2. At least two years of statistical consulting experience.
3. Experience with experimental designs and statistical models used for the analysis of environmental, agricultural, and/or industrial data for both continuous and categorical data.
4. Experience with fixed and mixed effects linear models.
5. Experience with nonlinear models.
6. Ability to solve problems using non-conventional statistical techniques.
7. Proficiency in SAS, including PROC MIXED and/or GLIMMIX.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians in concise, understandable terms.
11. Willingness to continually improve statistical skills and expand personal development.
12. Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
13. Experience with Good Laboratory Practice Standards is a plus but not required.
