Position Description: Under limited supervision, the Administrative Assistant provides secretarial and clerical support at the Director and/or Officer level. He/She is the primary support person who performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to run an a department efficiently. This person will plan and schedule meetings and appointments; organize and maintain paper and electronic files; manage projects; conduct research; and disseminate information by using the telephone, mail services, Web sites, and e-mail. They also may handle travel and guest arrangements.

Additional Requirements: - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ideal candidate should be proficient in typing and good at spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication.
- Possess good customer service and interpersonal skills and be tactful in their dealings with people.
- Discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
- May be asked to perform location payroll, basic billing/invoicing, and other basic office tasks.
Responsibilities: Position responsibilities include but are not limited to setting up and creating reports, memos, presentations and correspondence often of a technical and/or confidential nature, composing routine correspondence, sorting and distributing daily mail, answers routine inquires; takes messages and directs callers to proper parties; schedules appointments and makes travel arrangements, maintains filling systems, assists in organizing and expediting flow of work through manager’s office.
