Role Summary: The Mission Health Policy Specialist is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the development, revision, and dissemination of all policy and procedures, in collaboration with the Mission Health Policy Oversight Committee. The manager uses the most recent and applicable Standards of Clinical Practice, Standards for Administrative practice, The Joint Commission Standards, CMS, Mission’s care delivery models, and other related professional practice standards and guidelines to provide guidance and direction to the policy management team. Goals include region wide simplification and standardization of policies and procedures to promote uniform and high level care that supports the "Bigger Aim."
