The Financial Analyst role in the WW Financial Systems Department will primarily focus on supporting various aspects of the overall financial systems strategy, which includes global projects, system enhancements, day to day financial & system efficiencies, and financial analysis for assigned business partners.

The Financial Analyst will assist in maintaining and enhancing the WW Financial Systems Roadmap; Manage small scale projects; Lead assigned phases of large scale projects (this will include but is not limited to collaborating with WW finance business partners to document current business processes, gather new business requirements, and perform gap analysis); Continue to partner with IT and finance business partners as functionalities are developed and tested; Collaborate user acceptance testing process including identification of testing scenarios, writing detailed test scripts, execution of test scripts by end-users, and closing defects; Prepare training material and deliver training to end-users; Provide Go live support and post implementation user support to ensure a high-level of success for projects.

The Analyst will provide accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis to influence business decisions. Provide analysis to assigned business partners, including: business planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reconciliations. Perform assigned quarterly SOX testing. Promote usage of all implemented tools and find creative solutions for end-users to relieve job-demands through technology.

In addition, this role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing assigned day-to-day tasks. This will include managing several master data in SAP, such as GL and Customer Pricing. Researching and responding back to finance inquiries related to system capabilities, regional finance procedures, compliant financial treatment, and standardized solutions.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required preferably in finance/accounting. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar finance related role is required. A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills is desirable.

Project management experience is preferred. Working knowledge of SAP ERP and other tools like SAP BI and Cognos are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills is required specifically Excel. Experience with Microsoft Access is preferred. Strong problem solving and team building skills, attention to details, the ability to prioritize and plan effectively, and following-through directives are highly preferred. Experience working globally and strong team leadership skills for multi-regional teams is preferred.

This position is based in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 15% travel.
