The goal of the Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) is to enhance Ciscoâ s relevance and recognition in specific industry sectors by providing insights and success examples that consequently position many Ciscoâ s solutions and products . IBSGâ s role is to work with senior business and IT executives at leading companies by addressing CXO care abouts that improve company performance through improved and new business models. The result for the customer is improved revenue growth and profitability. A successful consultant will become a trusted adviser to customer executives and at the same time work closely with relevant Cisco practitioners, groups and business units to demonstrate and quantify how network based technologies can help our customers transform their business practices and processes to meet current and future business imperatives.
The IBSG Director, Financial Services, Japan would be accountable for new business results by developing and maintaining top level customer relationships of the assigned industry vertical, structuring and delivering customer engagements that address CXO key care-abouts, and managing the key relationships between IBSG, the Customer, and other Cisco organizations, most specifically the sales organization.
Key Job Responsibilities
â ¢ Become a Trusted Advisor to Senior Business and IT Executives
â ¢ Through consulting engagements, establish and maintain customer relationships, delivery business value and improve customer satisfaction with Cisco
â ¢ Develop and demonstrate industry aligned thought leadership, for both external and internal consumption, that positions the current and future importance of networked based technologies and solutions.
â ¢ Partner with the Field Sales and Services teams to build strong customer commitment and improve customer experience and relationship.
â ¢ Establish reputation for unique and insightful point of view and solutions in the Financial Services sectors in Japan.
â ¢ Assist in creating value propositions for networked enabled assets and managed services.
â ¢ Support the development of new business plans and the creation of new revenue services; go to market strategy creation; revenue and deal flow modeling.
â ¢Meet and exceed IBSG targets for monetization of services
Skills Required
â ¢ The successful candidate will have demonstrated industry and consulting experience working at the CxO level executives in Japan.
â ¢ Extensive knowledge in the Financial Services industry (i.e. Consumer / Retail Banking / Wealth Management).
â ¢ Strong consulting and facilitation skills.
â ¢ Team and project management ability.
â ¢ Strong presentation and executive communications skills and public speaking ability.
â ¢ Execution focus with the ability to work independently with minimum support.
â ¢ Ability to perform in a team oriented environment and demonstrated strong understanding of Global networking marketplace.
â ¢ Ability to manage multiple complex projects with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
â ¢ Strong leadership experience and understanding of how to influence and leverage virtual team and customersâ resources to execute projects
â ¢ Strong spoken and written English and Japanese
