The BIS(IT) Strategy Specialist (for assigned domain) responsibilities within that domain include developing BIS strategy , execution of BIS strategy, annual business system planning and execution of portfolio prioritization, internal and external reporting, and execution of assigned innovation programs.   This role also assists the BIS Strategy Manager in developing BIS Board report submissions, Balanced Scorecard reporting. The specialist will become familiar with MillerCoors business processes and systems for assigned domains, as well as the US Beer Business. The specialist will support assigned domains of BIS Transformation, Business Transformation and associated change programs based on direction from the BIS Strategy Manager. This activity will also include understanding of the implications of the new strategy on the day-to-day cross-functional operations of business and BIS (IT). The specialist will facilitate identification and support of new and innovative ideas to leverage technology and/or optimize business processes within business to grow the business and/or improve productivity at MillerCoors.

Area of Responsibility:

1. Strategy-
· Key Contributor from   Strategy Team responsible for development of long-term domain specific BIS strategies that support delivering the BIS vision for BIS capability delivery
· Responsible for development of IT strategies by collaborating with assigned BIS Functional domains
·  Support communication and engagement plan within BIS and with the assigned functional BIS leaders and business leaders.
· Support integration and alignment of BIS Strategy with MillerCoors

2. Annual Business Process and Systems Improvement Plan-
· For assigned domains manage and support the development of the process to complete the annual IT Master Plan (Business Process and Systems Improvement plan - BPSIP) working with assigned functional   Business Owners and assigned BIS resources.
· Liaison with Business Transformation Team for the assigned domains
· For the assigned domains, support the documentation and communication of the approved 3-5 year rolling roadmap of initiatives in the IT Master plan (BPSIP) including short (one year) and longer term (3-5 year) horizon
· Develop and support management and reporting of progress against the approved IT Master Plan (BPSIP).

3. Periodic Portfolio Prioritization-
· Manage tracking of domain specific portfolio projects including current in-flight projects and demand   for new projects
· Manage assessment process and prioritization of demand for new projects for assigned domains
· Manage ongoing assessments of in-flight projects for Structured for success criteria for assigned domains
Manage Demand prioritization process across assigned domains / BIS areas to ensure alignment to strategy

6. Strategy Project Execution-
· Develop Business Cases for Strategic initiatives (scope, timing, functionality, cost for original and revisions) with support from Business Analysts and work with Strategy and Enterprise business Solution Lead to obtain executive approval
· Direct Project Leaders to deliver IT projects for strategy assigned area, with responsibility for the overall implementation, execution and quality of solution delivery
· Monitor and promote initiatives under their responsibility to ensure their successful completion on time and within budget.
·Responsible for execution of innovation projects like proof of concepts

Education and/or Experience-
·  Bachelor Degree with MIS focus or related field is required
·  Minimum 7-10 years of IT program / project management experience required
· Demonstrated experience  performing strategic planning activities in a technology, CPG or Manufacturing environment

Skills and/or Knowledge-
· Strategic and analytical thinking
· Strong written and oral communication skills, comfortable in front of senior leaders
· Ability to quickly synthesize complex information and distill it down to the key strategic issues
· Strong facilitation, collaboration, presentation skills
Experience with IT portfolio management concepts and related tools

Other Requirements-
· Confidentially manages information that is sensitive and sometimes proprietary.
·  Ability to use sound judgment and operate independently.
·  Business experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of medium to large scale integrated systems
· Certification in a relevant IT Framework (CMMI, ITIL, IT-CMF) is a plus
· PMP certified is a plus
Understanding of Enterprise Architecture is a plus
