The Partner Systems Engineer:

Market Analysis
Develop local market capacity plan
Identify coverage gaps
Identify prospective partners and evaluate partner capabilities
Develop and enable recruitment strategies
Update / inform new partner recruitment plan
Update technical goals / objectives for existing partners

Busines Development
Provide technical rationale and benefits on new partnerships
Infuence invest in, and sell Cisco-based solutions
Co-develop partnerâ s technical marketing strategy
Develop partner technical architecture
Enable access to Cisco talent sources
Define annual technical and sales partner goals

Partner enablement
Inventory current technical capabilities and competencies
Identify gaps and update partner technical plan
Manage partner against development plan
Manage partner training,enrollment and logistics
Drive education and awareness of NPI, solutions and emerging technologies
Lead â train-the-trainerâ training enablement
Provide partner with a roadmap to Cisco resources
Manage online training (one-to-many)

Sales coordination
Cross-communicate and position partner strengths and deficiencies with Cisco sales team
Align xAMs with partners based on defined territory or account
Assist PAMs with roll-up forecast
Maintain visibility of large deals
Assist with conflict resolution in deals
Collaborate with partner on resolving end-customer, deal support issues
Address deal-specific technical issues escalated from TAC, TSN, etc.

Partner Support
Assist with Technical Program support (CTMP)
Enable partner order management processes
Help resolve incentive and compensation issues
Provide post-sales technical, warranty and services support
Identify appropriate resource to solve post-sales technical issues
Escalate partner technical issues within Cisco to promote partner satisfaction and loyalty


Position partner strengths and deficiencies with Cisco sales team
Align xAMs with partners based on defined territory or account
Collaborate with partner on resolving end-customer, deal support issues
Provide post-sales technical, warranty and services support
