MillerCoors, Trenton Brewery, located in Trenton, Ohio, is seeking a Class III Water Supply Operator with advanced mechanical and/or electrical abilities. The Qualified candidate will work at a lime softening plant within a Team Based Union environment while working 12.5 hour days and rotating through two continuous shifts (day and evening) every 4 weeks. In addition, this position requires flexibility and availability to be called in, work weekends, overtime as required, and scheduled holidays.  This is a fulltime permanent position. Satisfactory performance is an expectation.

The Candidate must have the interpersonal skill to function effectively within the assigned team in order to provide support to the utilities department.  Candidates must be able to implement preventative maintenance tasks as well the ability to perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on such equipment as needed. The candidate must ensure the maximum efficiency of the operation while maintaining compliance with established safety, quality, material usage, sanitation, budget and scheduling guidelines in line with World Class Manufacturing Strategy. The successful candidate must demonstrate impeccable attendance while working in an environment of varying temperature extremes. All candidates must be able to perform frequent physical activity in the form of lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, etc.  All candidates must be capable of frequently lifting and carrying 50 pounds. 

Overall Responsibilities:

· Perform water treatment plant chemical analysis

· Maintain Laboratory Certification

· Operation and maintenance of 3 Water Wells

· Operation and maintenance of the Accelators

· Operation and maintenance of Lime Slakers

· Management of chemical usage

· Operation and maintenance of filtering and purification equipment

· Operation and maintenance of pumps

· Operation and maintenance of associated instrumentation

· Performance of both routine and non-routine Operator Based Maintenance tasks on the above equipment

· Utilization of Maximo to enter new Work Requests, follow-up Work Requests or Unscheduled Work Orders, complete Work Orders with time posted and research equipment spare parts and histories

· Participation in 5-S related activities as they apply in the Water Treatment Plant.

· Apply Problem Solving Tools (5-Why) to operational issues in order to identify and correct the root cause

· Utilizes the Trenton Brewery Management of Change process

· Timely, effective communication or escalation of all pertinent issues to the Maintenance Planner, Utilities Unit Manager, or other appropriate parties

· Continually analyse the Water Treatment Plant operation and operational trends for any energy savings or operational savings opportunities

· Active participation in the Utilities Water Treatment Plant Sub-Team Meetings

· Operation of the aforementioned equipment safely and in accordance with all established EPA criteria while minimizing costs to MillerCoors.

Education/License Requirements:

· High school Diploma or equivalent required

· Ohio Class III Water Supply License required

· Two year advanced technical degree strongly preferred.

Key Knowledge & Experience:

• Prior operations, engineering, &/or maintenance experience.
  
• Functional understanding of Operator Based Maintenance and Asset Care.
  
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and analytical skills.

Additional Application Considerations:   

Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen test, behavioral assessments, panel interviews and take a physical as well as a written/hands-on skill assessment test.
