POSITION SUMMARY This position will focus on the implementation of either risk products or vendor developed risk solutions to reduce risk for the Kaiser Permanente organization. The individual will have a working knowledge of multiple development methodologies, proficient in producing status reports; have strong team management skills and experience managing offshore workers. This position will focus on delivery and execution, strong project management is required alongside a disciplined approach to change management.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Build the structure, processes and staff to create a development team capable of building world class software, focused on solutions to address technology risk. Manage the budgets and delivery of software through an offshore partner. Establish a technology development team in Colorado who will design, develop and implement risk services which can be leveraged by the corporation. Establish status reporting and escalation processes to ensure project deliveries are met or appropriately modified with agreement of senior management.

SHORT- AND LONG-TERM ACCOUNTABILITIES
Create an effective pilot for a risk register within the Technical Risk Office. Ensure that the sustaining processes and accountability functions are in place to measure the efficiency risk solutions. Deliver quality software solutions for risk reporting and workflow to ensure effective resolution.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related field and/or 6 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible management experience in planning, budget/financial management, and staffing.
- A minimum of 8 years of related IT experience including IT Project Management.
- Significant experience with the development and engineering of identity and access management systems and other solutions used to manage technical risk is required.
- Significant experience managing offshore vendor relationships.
