This position is in the KPH/HP Strategy and Culture Alignment Dept and is responsible for partnering with senior leaders of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California region to maximize their ability to support its organizational strategy of quality and service differentiation and become the employer of choice. Position includes strategic change consultation, executive coaching/consultation, leadership team development, and initiatives associated with culture change.
Essential Functions:
- As a member of the KPH/HP Strategy and Culture Alignment department, position will partner with senior executives of the KP NCAL region to create and sustain a culture that advances the Kaiser Permanente strategy.
- Duties include consultation in the following areas:
- Leadership, Strategy and Development - Consultation to teams and groups of leaders to substantially affect their strategic planning and alignment, decision-making, priority setting and execution, and to enhance their leadership skills and develop themselves and their teams to maximize performance.
- Large Scale Change - Consultation for key regional initiatives including change leadership, planning, systemic thinking, and implementation.
- Leadership Teams &Regional Peer Groups - Consultation to leaders, teams and/or regional operational peer groups on organizational alignment, maximizing performance and successful collaboration.
- Executive Coaching and Consultation - One-on-one consultation on decision making, priority setting, execution, leadership style and actions, motivation and development of team and direct reports, partnership and integration issues.
- Organizational Assessment and Design - Assessment, data collection, data analysis and design to enable organizations, departments or teams to meet business and performance demands efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum ten (10) years of previous work experience in consulting to complex organizations across a range of industries.
- Minimum ten (10) years of previous work experience in coaching senior level executives.
- Master's degree in Organization Development, Organizational Behavior or related fields.
- Expertise in behavioral sciences, organization development, leadership development, change management and culture change.
- Knowledge of personality and social psychology, particularly in areas of motivation and change.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated political savvy and emotional intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Management experience.
- Ph.D. in Organization Development, Organizational Behavior or related fields.
