Qualifications
· Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Manufacturing, International Commerce or similar discipline. Masters preferred.
· 7 or more years of experience focused on agriculture, business management, international business, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or global trade & compliance.
· Specific international trade or compliance work experience required.
· Has a proven track record of achieving results through people.
· Demonstrates strong analytical, planning, and decision making skills and an ability to respond to changing circumstances
· Must be an effective team player and proficiently work with or lead cross functional teams
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Certifications in logistics and / or global trade & compliance are a plus.
· US Customs Brokers License a plus.
· Computer proficient with SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Strong leadership skills and strong strategic thinking skills
· Ability to read and interpret documents associated with domestic and international shipping
