Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
· PhD in soil science, or related sciences
· Post-doctoral or applicable industrial experience is desired.
· Strong background in soil science, environment modeling, GIS and remote sensing applications, and spatial prediction methods
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work with team members as well as independently (“self-starter”)
· Results orientation with ability to deliver on short-term goals while simultaneously advancing longer-term strategy and goals.
· Leverage critical thinking to develop innovative analytical tools/analysis in this emerging area of environmental modeling
Preferred Skills/Experience
· PhD in soil science
· Expertise in proximal soil sensing and high resolution digital soil mapping
· Knowledge of G-by-E and computer programming would be an advantage
