Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:

Ph.D. in Statistics, Genetics, Computational Biology or related field of study.

Outstanding analytical skills.

Proficiency with statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, ASREML or related)

A solid foundation in statistical theory and with a strong interest in applied statistical analysis methodologies.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts in language understandable by scientists from a variety of disciplines.
Desired Experience:

Postdoctoral training.

Strong understanding of plant breeding or applied genetics

Understanding of sequence technologies and genomic data

Experience working with large databases.

Experience working with scripting languages (e.g. PERL, Python, AWK, shell)
