Required skills/experience:
- Ph.D. in genetics, plant breeding, genomics or related field.
- Practical experience in use of molecular markers for genetic mapping of trait loci.
- Knowledge and experience in experimental design, statistical analysis and relevant software applications.
- Knowledge and experience in methods of plant breeding.
- Ability to develop and manage complex projects and effectively lead interdisciplinary teams to accomplish project goals.
- Outstanding analytical skills.
- A decisive, innovative and creative personality.
Desired skills/experience:
- Postdoctoral training.
- Experience in characterizing plants for biochemical, biochemical or disease resistance traits.
- Experience in methods of molecular marker detection and bioinformatics.
- Research experience with vegetable crops.
