GENERAL SUMMARY



Responsible for coordinating the implementation of all new group membership and renewal business with an emphasis to groups in excess of 100 members. Develops and files small group and individual products for multiple states.  Serves as the primary liaison for all departments as it relates to group account installation. Conducts audits of the enrollment process as necessary.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

-
Manages group account installations to ensure accurate and timely set up. Coordinates with Group Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Claims, Medical Management, Contracting , and Customer Service as needed. Works with Communications to develop both internal and external communication for new business.

Facilitates internal implementation meetings to meet or exceed deadlines. Interacts with all levels of staff within the company.

Oversees the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for large groups by acting as the liaison between the client, Underwriting, and the RFP Unit.

Acts as liaison for the business unit, CSO brokers, consultants, and vendors for quick problem resolution and accurate communications.

Oversees pre- and post-enrollment audits to ensure accuracy  standards are achieved for benefit set-up and premium rates.

Coordinates new and renewal processing to reduce retroactive adjustments.

Performs other duties as required. 
Qualifications:

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant (5-7 years) experience in the managed care industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health Care Reform regulations.
- Strong customer service skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of management internal and external.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Initiative and analytical ability to research and prepare reports.
- Proficient with standard corporate software packages and applications.
