    The Ryder Finance Group:
    The Finance group is centralized under the Chief Financial Officer who is a member of the Ryder Leadership Team. Reporting to the CFO are several departments providing services to a wide range of internal and external customers. Ryder's Finance Group is highly respected within the Ryder organization. Numerous top leadership positions have been filled with former finance employees.

    The Ryder Finance group is looking for dynamic individuals to work in one of the following departments:
  • Pricing
  • Financial Planning
  • Field Finance
  • Treasury
  • Risk Management
  • Mergers and Acquisitions

    Positions could be located in our corporate HQ in Miami or in our knowledge centers in Alpharetta GA, Dallas TX, or Detroit MI.

  • Requirements:

  • MBA with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 (three) years of accounting or finance work experience.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • THIS POSITION WILL NOT START UNTIL THE SUMMER OF 2013 AND IT IS INTENDED FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT WILL COMPLETE THEIR MBA IN 2013.
  • This particular position will be located in Miami, FL. Must be willing to relocate to the South Florida area.
  • Preference for work experience with a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm.
  • Strong financial, analytical, technical and organizational skills required to support multiple projects.
  • Personal initiative, ability to present and effectively interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to influence.
  • Candidate will be expected to assume an active leadership position within the organization in supporting business development activities and advancing organizational objectives.
  • Responsibilities: Responsibilities will vary according to the areas of assignments. Generally, the responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

  • Support Ryder's Business Development and Operations in costing and pricing activities, which include gathering cost data for developing of costing analysis, analysis of alternative pricing and billing strategies, risk - return evaluation and contract review / analysis / negotiation.
  • Provide financial support and advice to operations management on ways to maximize financial performance of accounts and establish appropriate controls and business behavior.
  • Prepare various internal financial reports for executive management.
  • Perform monthly analysis of financial statements including, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Contribute to the business and strategic planning processes, capital budgeting and other special projects such as evaluation of capital investments including acquisitions, technology and leases.
  • Prepare financial presentations for Treasury, Strategy and Investor Relations.
