Position Description: This position will assist the Operations Accounting and Reporting group with monthly reporting to management of operating results, balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations, and other project related items.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Master’s degree in Accounting coupled with a non-accounting Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 3 years in the accounting field.

- Guidance and supervision is needed less frequently
- Ability to solve problems with relative independence and adapts previous solutions to fit new conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, and posses strong analytical skills.
- Ability to interact with external and internal auditors, management and other within the organization
- CPA license is strongly preferred
- Prior public accounting experience ("Big 4") is strongly preferred
- Prior supervisory experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reporting and analyzing operating results and segment Balance Sheets.
- Participate in Hyperion and Walker related projects.
- Ensure assigned controls are operating effectively.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation during the close process.
- Provide support to other departments such as Finance, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Marketing, Environmental, and internal and external auditors.
