Position Overview
Under limited supervision the Business Analyst III will be the liaison between Business users and IT developers and will assist with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning program. The IT Business Analyst will customize and configure workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications and test layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. The Business Analyst may specialize in one or more business areas such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Order Processing Sales Support or Inventory Management or specialize in a specific software or system.

Responsibilities
• Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain business requirements for various projects and/or systems from initial phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet acceptance standards.
• Develop requirements documentation and diagrammatic models such as use cases, functional specifications and coordinate the capture of process models and functional testing, ensuring system is functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well integrated.
• Understand the source and use of key business data and prepares analysis reports to enable business and design decisions.
• Provide level 3 user support and support requirements as well as coordinate resolution of issues to include change management, root cause analysis, and appropriate escalation as needed.
• Develop and manage user acceptance criteria and coordinate end user training.
• Assist Project Managers in project timeline definition related to user documentation requirements including review phases, level of effort and duration of requirements management activities.
• Assist in the creation of standard format, content and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.

Education and Experience Requirements
• BS/BA, preferably in a technical or scientific field, with 6 or more years of experience in IT project based environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
• At least 5 years functioning as a Business Analyst, providing the activities details in the
responsibilities description.
• Exhibits leadership ability with a track record of developing people and achieving challenging objectives.
• Business Analysis certification is a plus.
• Require strong communication skills and the ability to understand and simplify complex material.
• Exhibit familiarity with one or more requirements management methodology and technique.
• Understand and can speak to application development life cycle and methodologies.
• A demonstrated successful track record of delivering projects of medium or above priority
and risk is required.
• Experience with various business process and system modeling tools such as: Data Flow
Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event
Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios
