Position Description: The Logistics and Transportation Office Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the department. The person selected for this position will input accident reports via telephone, e-mail, fax and mail into the computer system. He/She will process letters to claimants and adverse carriers in cases where the customer provides liability insurance through their own carrier. In addition, they will verify coverage through the use of AS/400, contact with field locations and Lotus Notes e-mail application.

Strong interpersonal skills preferred.
Have the ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder.
Must be self motivated and able to prioritize to successfully complete tasks, both long and short term.
Must interact well with customers, both internal and external, and be a team player.
This position requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
