Job Summary:  Manages Pyxis System Products and databases.  Coordinates and insures that all objectives and goals are met.  Collaborates with staff/management/customers to improve systems related to customer expectations.  Assists with quality improvement strategies by coordinating and participating in pharmacy projects as assigned or requested by the Pharmacy Manager.

Required Education:           Associates Degree in Health or related area.

Preferred Education:          Bachelor of Science Degree in Health or Science

Required License:               None

Preferred License:             Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Required Experience:         3 years work experience in a hospital based pharmacy or medical setting where accuracy and detail work are primary aspects of job.  Solid knowledge of computers, excellent organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to change.

Preferred Experience:      Knowledge of Pyxis Systems or similar.
