Job Details:	Job Summary: The Clinical Informatics Specialist supports physicians, clinicians, health care workers, affiliates and partners by providing continuous support, troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvements. Promotes future and present system functionality by designing, building and testing the clinical information systems. Enhances the hospital by driving the evolution of customer-oriented, cost-effective and integrated health information management systems. Required Education: Baccalaureate degree in a health profession, information technology or computer science. Will consider a combination of education and experience. Demonstrates high competency level in computer usage. Preferred Education: Masters Degree. Required License: None. Preferred License: None. Required Experience: Two years in clinical health care setting with experience in database analysis. Possess high level of analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience: Clinical background and/or database development experience.
