Job Summary: Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well being of patients.  Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.  Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Required Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and National Credentials

Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of nursing or Compact State as defined by NC Board or Nursing, BCLS

Required Experience: Must have at least one year of nursing experience in Post Op or Critical Care nursing experience.  Call is required; ACLS and PALS also required.


Preferred Experience: Previous PACU or ICU experience preferred
