Club, Cash & Carry Market Manager

Position Summary:
The Club, Cash & Carry Channel is transforming and the pace of change is increasing.
The Club, Cash & Carry Market Manager (CCCMM) for Restaurant Depot - West Coast Division (CA) will be part of a dynamic and flexible team where people are empowered to take ownership and responsibility in order to deliver results.
The CCCMM is responsible for product merchandising, optimized distribution and profitable sales growth at Unilever Food Solutions biggest and most complex customer in the channel. Sales activity will focus upon selling store managers and personnel within assigned customer locations for the purpose of establishing, protecting and increasing UFS product distribution and sales. The CCCMM will also occasionally work with the Restaurant Depot buyers to present opportunities, issues, and concerns.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop strong working relationships with Restaurant Depot buyers, store management and personnel.
Develop individual store plans that include merchandising, optimized product mix and product demonstrations.
Successfully sell store management on stocking additional UFS products, increasing shelf facings and improving shelf sets.
Cut in and tag new items authorized by account headquarters.
Sell in and merchandise in-store product displays.
Obtain and report customer and operator insights and competitive activities to the business.
Develop and execute Store Sales Personnel product and conceptual training programs.
Prepare a store coverage plan for the sales territory and assigned stores.
Prepare, demonstrate and sell stocked products to operators that shop at assigned customer stores.
Conduct store audits of Unilever Food Solutions products to ensure Perfect Store Execution and to communicate results and recommendations to key stakeholders on a timely basis.
Achieve assigned sales growth targets at assigned customer stores.
Prepare a store coverage plan for the sales territory and assigned stores.
Prepare, demonstrate and sell stocked products to operators that shop at assigned customer stores.

Scope:
-The Cash & Carry Market Manager position requires a greater level of sales experience within the foodservice sales industry.
-This position level requires ongoing training focus on Unilever Foodsolutions products and procedures.
Key Requirements (Education, Knowledge & Skills)
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree is required. A degree in Business or Marketing; or a two-year Culinary Degree is desirable.
- A year of relevant business or sales experience. Foodservice sales experience, operations and/or cooking a plus.
- A valid Driver's License.
- High level of proficiency in utilizing MS Office tools such as Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel.

This is a home based position. Travel/driving is approximately 25-40%.
