Job Title: Global Learning Operations Manager

Main Job Purpose:


 


Reporting to the Director, Global Talent Operations, the Global Learning Operations Manager will manage all HR Learning operations activities including, but not limited to: the effective and efficient delivery of Learning services, the service improvement and delivery strategy for these services, as well as escalations as necessary.


 


This position will be responsible for partnering with our IT team and HR staff around the world, as well as external service providers, to ensure global delivery of Learning Services.


 


The Manager will work collaboratively to understand and assess key components of the policies and procedures within the organization and recommend improvements / changes with both the big picture and the affected individuals in mind.  The Manager will be called upon to analyze past processes, identify areas requiring improvement, contribute as an operational thought-leader in developing infrastructure moving forward, ensuring efficient communication, and most importantly, implement the new practices.


 


 


Key Accountabilities:


 


-End to end live service process custodian: Work with stakeholders, within Unilever, Accenture & IBM (ETs, HRBPs, Service Delivery, the Accenture/IBM Process Lead and the wider business) to ensure the service is working as desired.


 


-Process improvement: Identify opportunities and partner with teams as needed to drive improvement activities; this includes alignment between Service Delivery and global Expertise Team as well as partnering with the Learning Academies.


 


-Service improvement - identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities by working with local SDDs, SDMs and Regional Talent Management structure


 


-Determine and monitor performance measures specific to the live Learning service. Use them to drive understanding and the improvement actions as listed above


 


-Collaborate with the HR Expertise Team on provisions specific to Learning processes operating in a variety of countries and contexts.


 


-Drive Adoption with the Global Learning Academies.


 


-Deliver effective global Learning processes as well as governance, operating procedures and controls in support of Talent Operations and in line with HR Requirements.


 


-Drive to continuously improve the Learning Services operations quality and effectiveness as well as streamline processes and ensure efficiency.


-Ensure consistent governance in line with ES strategy and communicate status and progress of the operation


 


Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and establish appropriate service performance measures and monitor performance ensuring service levels are met globally.


 


-Build positive relationships and establish a consistent, timely, responsive, and thorough communication loop with service providers, Unilever HR teams (global, regional local), Expertise team & Service Delivery team members and other key stakeholders.


 


-Work with providers and Unilever HR to identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery and resolve critical / escalated issues with providers and key Unilever stakeholders.


 


-Manage and evaluate services / processes in light of new business requirements and determine any changes required / Identify trends and actions to address where appropriate.


 


-Review, analyse and challenge change requests related to the Learning; ensure that a business case is developed; and if the request is approved, ensure the change is delivered on time and in full.


 


-Identify opportunities to improve understanding and adoption of the services and work with ETs and HRBPs to develop and implement plans to address.


 


 


 


Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:


 


-University Graduate


-Extensive years experience in HR. Learning experience is a must, HR operations is a plus.


-Proven experience in management of third party service providers, and of structured service delivery methodologies, including governance, issue management, relationship management


-Thorough knowledge and experience of Learning processes and service


-End to end process improvement implementation


-Experience in either process, learning outsourcing


-Vendor relationship
