Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for an experienced, but adventurous, Web / Ruby on Rails Developer to join our innovative (and quirky) gaming client in Santa Monica, CA.
Note: During contract phase, you can be remote for part of the week!
What you'll do for the team:
- Work on innovative tournament platform.
- Contribute to code development and enhancements.
- Develop innovation UI / UX wireframes and sites to compliment code.
Toys you bring to our playground:
- Two to three (2-3) years of recent experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Three to four (3-4) years of LAMP stack (PHP not as crucial).
- Within the stack, good MySQL queries and tuning is desired.
- JQuery and HTML5 would be a nice addition for front end work.
- Perl / Bsh are an added bonus.
- Looking for people with great side project / personal project work to expand their use of the open source technologies.
