Job Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the capacity of Occupational Health Nurse / Workers Compensation Case Manager. This is a full-time, contract position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the occupational health programs and other health-related concerns in a corporate environment.
- Act as a health consultant and program manager; working with management, employees, medical providers, community resources.
Job Qualifications:
- California RN (Registered Nurse) license.
- Previous Occupational Health or Workers' Compensation experience is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- COHN or COHN-S is preferred.
- Knowledge of Disability Management, Management of Work Related Injury / Illness Claims, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Health Education / Wellness Programs and Medical Provider Management required.
