Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our client in Mt. Laurel, NJ. This temporary / contract position is for the duration of four to six (4-6) plus months.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management of proposal drafting, price development and modeling for potential business opportunities and the continuous review, analysis and evaluation of Military Services Group (MSG) business and operational data.
- Acts as project manager for assigned price adjustment proposal projects. As directed by the Business Performance Manager, the Sr. Analyst also serves to provide oversight to various programs/activities within MSG, including cost trending/analysis, development/updating of modeling templates and documentation of standard practices and procedures.
- Manage pricing development, and cost and financial modeling for all potential MSG business opportunities. Manage price adjustment proposals for existing MSG contracts.
- Assist MSG management in maximizing the organization's business and operational performance by: collecting, analyzing and evaluating MSG financial and operational data; analyzing costs and trends in support of price adjustment and new bid development; analyzing performance problems at existing contracts and developing solutions; and developing and documenting standardized practices to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Other financial or business performance related activities as directed.
Job Qualifications:
- Four (4) year Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Business-related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
- Strong Financial analysis skill, including budget management and complex financial modeling with seven to ten (7-10) years of experience in modeling and analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills (tact/diplomacy, persuasion, cooperation and ability to motivate others).
- Ability to effectively interact with colleagues, consultants and utility stakeholders.
- Good verbal and written communication skills (e.g., presentation, listening, report writing).
- Good negotiation skills.
- Computer software proficiency; strong skills in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, flow-charting, project scheduling.
- Strong team-working skills and ability to manage/produce in a culturally and geographically diverse, multi-company, matrix organization.
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills as an individual and as a project manager.
- Experience in challenging processes, decisions and plans at levels up to senior management.
- High level of comfort in dealing with change and ambiguity
- Ability to make sound inferences and recommendations based on limited or incomplete data
Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
- MBA graduate is preferred
