Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Nurse Practitioner in an Occupational Health clinical setting. This is a permanent, direct hire position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Job Qualifications:
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license with Furnishing license.
- MSN in Nursing is required.
- Three (3) years of previous experience in Occupational, Emergency, Ortho, Internal Medicine or General Practice.
- Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment of work-related and non-work-related illness and injuries.
- Experience with Worker's Compensation paperwork and regulations.
